Life's not fair.

They say "life's not fair, " and that's true.. but shouldn't we try to make as much of it fair as we can.
How can you expect to teach a person right from wrong, when your always doing the things you tell them not to?

You're having a fight with your mom, you think it's stupid, and you don't want to hear it anymore. You walk away. Your mom yells at you " Don't walk away when I'm talking to you! "
Same situation, but your mom knows your right, she doesn't like that. She begins to walk away while your talking? The only difference is, you don't get to yell at her.
Is that fair ? Doesn't matter, life's not fair.

Your mom always tells you " Have respect, don't give me additude. " Maybe she doesn't realize, she's giving you just as much additude, or more. But can you say anything about it? Of course not, she's the mom.
Does that seem fair ? Doesn't matter, life's not fair.

Why isn't life fair? Shouldn't it be? Growing up, I always heard " treat others how you would want to be treated. " Isn't that the definition of fair? How can you be expected to practice these morals, when everyday, your seeing just the opposite?  Seem fair? Doesn't matter, life's not fair.
